Description

Across the four major deserts in the American Southwest--Great Basin, Mojave, Sonoran, and Chihuahuan--are thousands of specially adapted plants and animals, like Gila Monster, Ringtail, Collared Peccary, Vermilion Flycatcher, and numerous succulents. To better acquaint you with the natural history of deserts in the US Southwest, we have packaged together three portable references--Birds, Plants, and Life--in an attractive acetate bag. Each guide features beautiful illustrations of over 100 common species, as well as an ecoregion map showing top bird-finding, botanical, or wildlife-viewing hotspots. Laminated for durability, these lightweight, 12-panel folding pocket guides comprise a comprehensive three-pack for educators, learners, naturalists, birders, botanists, and wildlife enthusiasts who wish to develop a deeper understanding of the most representative life forms occupying deserts across the Southwest of the United States. Made in the USA.
