Description

Get better acquainted with the flora and fauna of the Rocky Mountains with the Rocky Mountain Nature Set, a three-pack that includes the popular and beautifully illustrated guides to birds, trees & wildflowers, and wildlife. Everything about the Rockies is grand, whether it be scale, geographic reach, or diversity. Few landscapes inspire and call for exploration more than these iconic mountains. To forge deeper and more meaningful connections with the Rockies' rugged landscapes, it helps to learn the representative species that are adapted to alpine life. Rocky Mountain Birds features 140 common birds; Rocky Mountains Trees & Wildflowers includes 140 familiar trees, shrubs, and wildflowers; and Rocky Mountain Wildlife highlights 140 mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fishes, and butterflies. Each guide also includes an ecoregion map showing over 20 hotspots for nature study and exploration. Laminated for durability, these lightweight, 12-panel folding pocket guides are terrific companions for educators, learners, naturalists, and adventurers who are passionate about nature and want to learn more about the life forms that call the Rockies home. Made in the USA.
