Description

One of the most biodiverse states in the US, New Mexico's northern reaches are dominated by mountains and alpine forests. The south is part of the epic Chihuahuan Desert, the east is covered in grasslands, and there are also rich riparian areas along the mighty Rio Grande River. In world-renowned Bosque del Apache are the spectacular winter congregations of Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese. To better acquaint you with the natural history of the Land of Enchantment State, we have packaged together three portable references--Birds, Trees & Wildflowers, and Wildlife-- in an attractive acetate bag. Each guide features beautiful illustrations of over 100 common species as well as an ecoregion map showing top bird-finding, botanical, or wildlife-viewing hotspots. Laminated for durability, these lightweight, 12-panel folding pocket guides comprise a comprehensive three-pack for educators, learners, naturalists, birders, botanists, and wildlife enthusiasts who are interested in developing a deeper understanding of more than 300 of New Mexico's most familiar plants and animals. Made in the USA.
