Description

The rich world of Magic: The Gathering comes to life, revealing new adventures, in this thrilling graphic novel featuring Planeswalker and pyromancer Chandra Nalaar.

In the wake of tragedy, Chandra strikes out on her own, determined to protect the Multiverse, no matter the cost to herself. Along the way she'll not only have to fight new threats, but also her own sense of guilt. Fellow Planeswalker and friend Ajani Goldmane tries to intervene, but it's ultimately on Chandra to save herself, especially when a sinister foe emerges from the shadows.

Magic: The Gathering: Chandra ties directly into recent events on the cityscape plane of Ravnica--as seen in War of the Spark and subsequent card sets--bringing the comics closer to the game's story than ever before.

About the Author

Vita Ayala is a queer Afro-Latinx writer out of New York City, where they live with their wife and cat sons. They have written for DC, Dark Horse, Image, and Valiant Comics, and have creator-owned work through Black Mask Studios (The Wilds) and Vault Comics (Submerged). They're non-stop, like Hamilton!

Harvey Montecillo Tolibao was born in 1981 and raised in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, Philippines. Prior to breaking into comics, he was a furniture designer, graphic artist, illustrator, web designer, and tattoo artist. Harvey always dreamed of being a comic book artist, and, finally, after working on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic at Dark Horse, he completed his first work for Marvel in 2007, the Iron Man Annual. Since then, his work has appeared in Avengers: The Initiative, Heroes for Hire, and X-Men, as well as Green Lantern: New Guardians and Green Arrow for DC; Ghost, for Dark Horse; and G.I. JOE and Dungeons & Dragons for IDW, among others
