Join us for our culminating Georgia Bird Fest event, in-person at The Reel Room at SweetWater Brewing in Atlanta. Enjoy light appetizers and a selection of SweetWater's seasonal brews, including a special cask brewed just for Georgia Bird Fest (for adults 21+). We'll celebrate our Georgia Bird Fest event leaders, volunteers, and sponsors for a great month's worth of activities.

Joining us for the Closing Event as our Keynote Speaker is photographer, author, and filmmaker Dudley Edmondson. Dudley connects the dots to the reasons behind why African Americans and others from BIPOC communities are under-represented in the outdoors. To do so, we have to look at the nation’s history of slavery, systemic racism, and the civil rights movement, all culminating into many of the social and economic problems that are now a part of our daily lives.
