Description

“Cheery and affirming.” —Kirkus

From Grammy Award–winning musician and TV host Tim Kubart and illustrator Lori Richmond comes a lively picture book debut that reassures children that it’s okay to make mistakes!

When a girl drops her snack or scrapes her knee, does she get upset? No! She says, “Oopsie-do!” Readers will delight as they follow along and call out the OOPSIE-DO! refrain throughout the story.

This delightful picture book also includes the link to a free original song by Grammy winner Tim Kubart, available for download and sure to be a part of every repeat reading.

About the Author

Tim Kubart found his love for children's music while volunteering at an NYC homeless shelter. Since then he has performed countless times across the country and won the 2016 Grammy for his album Home. He is also a songwriter for children's TV shows, most notably Sesame Street, and spent years as the host of Sunny Side Up on the Sprout Channel. Tim has also toured around the world as the enthusiastic “Tambourine Guy” from Postmodern Jukebox. His first book, Oopsie-do!, features a link to a downloadable original song. Visit him at www.timkubart.com.

Lori Richmond is a corporate creative director turned picture book maker. She is the author-illustrator of Pax and Blue, which the New York Times called a "sprightly debut," and Bunny's Staycation. Lori is also the illustrator of A Hop Is Up and several other picture books. Visit her at www.loridraws.com.
